Description
I’m Kendra F. Dunlap, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Soul Harmony Psychotherapy, a California-based practice providing telehealth therapy for individuals located in California, Texas, and Virginia. I support Black women and work with BIPOC adults navigating trauma, burnout, caregiving roles, attachment and relational wounds, and major life transitions. Many of the women I work with are caregivers or high achievers who feel the pressure to hold everything together while quietly struggling.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Brainspotting to support healing that helps you reconnect with your Self, build deeper self-trust, and experience greater clarity and calm. At Soul Harmony Psychotherapy, therapy is a space where all parts of you are welcome, and where healing unfolds at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer non-therapeutic Caregiver Support Consulting for California residents who are caring for aging parents or loved ones. This short-term, solution-focused service is designed to help new or overwhelmed caregivers orient themselves, navigate emotional stressors and complex family dynamics, and connect with long-term support and appropriate resources outside of a therapy setting.
