Kel is a solution-focused, strength based, client centered therapist who is dedicated to making a positive impact on clients and their overall well-being. She has an innate ability to connect and relate to individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds with expertise working with women of color.
Kel has learned the importance of ensuring that client voices are heard during the therapeutic process and they are empowered to continue using their voice in positive and effective ways in everyday life. She believes her job is to instill hope and be a container to hold all the things too difficult for others to hold and manage alone.
Kel specializes in clients facing severe mental illness, depression, substance abuse, anger and stress management, healing from generational trauma and sexual orientation and gender identity issues. She is committed to working collaboratively with clients and families during the therapy process to help her clients succeed and create lasting change.
