I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose professional and personal journey led me to value the importance of balancing physical, mental, and spiritual health in order to experience total wellness. I have spent over 15 years providing mental health services to children and adults of all ages with managing symptoms related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress related to school, work, and interpersonal relationships.
My clinical practice combines cognitive behavior therapy with a solutions focused strengths based approach. Therapy sessions focus on acknowledging and changing patterns of thinking and behaving that may contribute to stress and helping each individual identity and develop her own strengths that are successful in reducing stress. I am also trained as a yoga and meditation teacher and often incorporate mindfulness practices to help manage stress.
