Description
Choosing yourself is a powerful step toward breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. As a Black female therapist, I recognize the unique challenges, strengths, and lived experiences that shape our mental health journeys—especially within communities where seeking support hasn’t always felt safe or accessible.
I am passionate about creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued—exactly as you are. I believe vulnerability is not a weakness, but a courageous act of self-awareness and growth. My goal is to provide a culturally affirming, supportive environment where you can explore your story, process your experiences, and move toward clarity and empowerment.
I have experience working with individuals navigating trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Since 2014, I have supported others in various roles and continue to expand my knowledge as a Ph.D. candidate.
My approach is person-centered, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I also incorporate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to meet your individual needs.
Healing is not a journey you have to take alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strength, voice, and sense of self.
