Description
I am a licensed clinical social worker with an endorsement from the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health as an Infant Family Specialist. I have obtained my graduate degree in clinical social work from the University of Michigan.
My desire is to optimize the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of women. Integrating compassion, psychotherapy, and evidenced-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), it is my endeavor to offer a supportive holding environment for healing. I have been trained in the use of attachment theory, mindfulness strategies, trauma-informed CBT, and parts theory. I have received additional training in the specialty areas of perinatal mood and anxiety concerns as well as parent-child psychotherapy.
I specialize in the areas of attachment, anxiety, trauma, mood-disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, grief and loss, as well as race-related stress.
Working through life’s challenges can be trying and overwhelming at times. However, you do not have to face these concerns alone. Therapy is an opportunity for you to gain a sense of safety, repair wounds, and learn how to update your strategies for your road ahead. Please feel free to contact me and learn more. It would be a privilege to speak with you.
