Hi there, I’m Karon!
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience, and I’m passionate about providing mental health treatment to individuals with anxiety, mood, and psychotic disorders. Throughout my years of successful practice, my goal has always been to provide a safe, shame-free environment for my patients as we work together to manage their mental health needs. My office is a judgment-free environment where you’ll always feel safe, comfortable, and accepted.
After graduating from Troy University with my Bachelor of Science in nursing, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Adult Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. I’ve worked extensively with adult veterans and civilians, providing medication management, supportive and psychotherapy. My aspiration is to educate, increase awareness and reduce stigma associated with mental health.
With over 25 years of experience, I know how to provide the individualized care you need, and I’m here to cheer you on every step of the way. I look forward to working with you!
