Description

Insight is being able to see or understand something clearly. It often includes having an understanding of a cause and effect relationship, namely if you do "A" then "B" will happen. (https://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-insight.html)

Changing unhelpful behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs sometimes requires new insights, new and/or better understandings of self. Maybe you need to unpack past trauma and understand its impact on your life today. Maybe you need to explore the origins of negative thinking in order to flip the script to thoughts that better serve you. Maybe you’ve been living according to unhelpful narratives others have written for you and it’s time to write your own preferred narrative, after all… you are the expert on YOU!

At Changing Insights, we help you develop the insight you are looking for, that accurate and deep intuitive understanding of… YOU! Improved insight means recognizing that events, people, and circumstances don’t control or define you; only you do that.

At Changing Insights, we believe that people are the experts of their own lives. Sometimes past events or current situations cause upheaval and individuals begin to live according to unhelpful narratives which begin to define who they are or believe they should be. Living according to these unhelpful narratives becomes restrictive and uncomfortable, much like wearing shoes that are three sizes too small.

I specialize in working with couples, families, and individuals - whether challenged by anxiety or depression, conflict in relationships, grief, or the lasting impact of trauma - my goal is to help you gain the needed insight to bring about desired change and live your preferred life.

My role as your therapist is collaborative; together, we will uncover your inner strengths and begin the journey of changing your insight. My job is to help the expert in your life - YOU - become the author of your preferred story. This is how change begins to happen.
