Life is hard — Whether working through a specific issue or daily stressors that keep coming; you try to manage it all on your own. Telling yourself and others, “I’m fine.” Sometimes it helps to have an outside objective view to support and navigate you through growth and change. I will join you as you walk through your experiences; offering a safe place to tell your story. I believe therapy is about relationships. I will bring authenticity, understanding, and compassion to meet you where you are, see you, hear you, and value you.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to identify core issues. My therapeutic approach is integrative, including principles and techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapies as well as Client-Centered and Adlerian Therapy. I collaborate with clients to challenge thoughts and actions to cope with and resolve difficulties. Clients begin to recognize that responses to current situations are rooted in social, cultural, and past experiences. My goal is to help you to identify and work through unhealthy patterns and thoughts to promote healing and help you find peace.
I believe in the healing power of therapy and welcome the opportunity to work with clients from all backgrounds. I am passionate about working with marginalized communities that do not typically seek therapy in an effort to normalize mental health care and make it more accessible to all.
