My approach is compassionate, genuine, and non-judgmental. Therapy can be a transformative relationship where you explore obstacles to your growth in a safe environment. I incorporate a variety of skills into my practice, such as mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and cognitive behavioral techniques.
For over a decade I have worked with young people of color who have severe and persistent mental health diagnoses. My previous experience has been centered on combining my two passions: addressing stigma of people living with mental health diagnoses in marginalized communities and working with young people of color who have experienced trauma.
