I provide individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents and adults. I have special interest in working with members of oppressed populations such as racial minorities and the LGBTQ+ community. I specialize in treating Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and other emotional and behavioral concerns to alleviate distress. I am not restricted to any particular approach to therapy, however I aim to operate in a trauma-informed manner using an integrated approach pulling from various evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and some psychodynamic aspects.
I offer a judgment free, safe space for you to work through issues you experience related to mental health, race, sexuality, or gender identity at your own pace, while also holding you accountable for “doing the work” to continue growth. We will build a quality therapeutic relationship to promote mentally healthy activity to improve your overall well being.
I believe each person to be an individual and that methods have to adapt to best suit client needs. Often people avoid therapy with the belief that it will not help them, but I believe the amount and type of help one needs varies. Matching you, the client, with a therapist that fits your needs, and that you feel connected with is very important to me.
