Description
Are you in the middle of a life transition, feeling unsure of your next move—or just plain exhausted from trying to “figure it all out”? Maybe anxiety and depression are tagging along more often than you’d like. Or maybe you’ve found yourself relying on distractions to cope with old wounds or current stressors. Perhaps you’re finally ready to live life on your own terms—you just need some support to get started.
If any of this sounds like you, you don’t have to do it alone.
Hi, I’m Kahla, and I help Black women and other clients untangle the deep roots of trauma and attachment wounds so they can step into more grounded, connected, and authentic versions of themselves.
With a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy, I’m licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Over the years, I’ve worked with adults, children, and families—but my heart beats hardest for supporting those facing issues like addiction, relationship distress, grief, body image, and self-esteem.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe in honoring your values while also encouraging you to define what “living your best life” means—on your own terms. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between access, resources, and knowledge so you feel both supported and empowered in your healing journey.
