I believe therapy is effective when trust exist between the person in the therapist chair, and the person on the couch. It takes trust to wade through the good and bad of life. It is not an easy task to look at one's self with honesty, and without judgement. Past narratives, experiences, and unhelpful beliefs about ourselves work to hold us in place. Moving forward begins with being where you are, and likely involves some letting go.

As a therapist I approach each person as they are in the present. With hope to help each person look honestly at what may be holding them back from where they'd like to go, and being who they'd like to be to themselves and others.

Finding the right person to share life with is not often easy. It is my hope that you find the naturally supportive person you need. Reach out to me if interested in a consult, or to schedule an appointment. Be well.
