Description

Juley-Ann adopts a culturally responsive approach and is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate family systems, relationship issues, and challenging life transitions. As a Caribbean immigrant, she brings a broad understanding of issues related to culture and race. Juley-Ann is committed to supporting clients through systemic issues, exploration of intersectional identities, and destigmatizing mental health. She is dedicated to evoking social justice in every aspect of her work. Her experience also includes working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, complex trauma, and PTSD.

Juley-Ann adopts a holistic and strengths-based approach to her work. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify where they may feel stuck as well as identifying their areas of strength which can support them through their journey. With her focus on empowerment, Juley-Ann encourages her clients to explore their values and identify the ways in which they can utilize their strengths to make meaningful change. In addition to exploring values, Juley-Ann recognizes the ways in which we can gain a stronger sense of self by exploring the ways in which our past experiences inform, and interact with, the present.

Juley-Ann’s therapeutic style is relationally oriented as she brings warmth, authenticity, and compassion into the therapy space. By creating a sense of safety and connectedness, clients feel at ease and feel as though they are authentically seen and heard.

Outside of her professional day, Juley-Ann enjoys running, cooking, and making pottery.
