Being a Black and African cisgender woman grounds who I am and the space I co-create for clients and communities. I approach my work through an anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive lens that centers on the needs of my clients by celebrating and validating the experiences and wisdom they bring.
My goal is to balance building a trusting relationship while creating space to think through the ways that our society and relationships impact our everyday lives. My ongoing training as a social worker, marriage and family therapist, and curriculum developer provide me the path to guide clients through the therapy process.
I am working alongside Nora Alwah LLC as a relational psychotherapist.
