Every day we face residual effects from past and present traumas. These residual effects then become obstacles which can sometimes take away our livelihood—leaving us feeling defeated, depressed, angry, and lost. As a holistic and culturally sensitive therapist my primary goal is to build a trusting relationship with you to promote comfortability and security. We will then collaborate and draw from all areas of your life to develop a deeper understanding of you and your needs.
From my experience, I’ve learned the best therapeutic approach is an eclectic one. In this safe, non-judgmental space, we will work together to figure out which therapeutic intervention(s) work best for your unique situation. I provide EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have experience with treating symptoms of Depression, Mood Disorders, Trauma and Stress-related Disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also work with couples to help bridge the gaps in communication and understanding to rebuild trust, comfortability, compassion, and closeness.
