I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, and a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor. I am qualified to counsel by the Texas Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. My formal education and experience prepared me to provide counseling services for clients both individually and in groups. I am also a current member of the American Counseling Association and the Texas Counseling Association.
I have over 24 years of experience working in a professional environment, a strong advocate for marginalized students including mentoring adolescents and adults and providing guidance. I have over 24 years of experience working with specialized populations: women of color, veterans, adolescent girls, Black males, LGBTQIA college students and first-generation college student. I use Trauma Informed Therapy.
I also CEO of Speaking Heart to Heart, a Women's Wellness Counseling non-profit organization where I provide women's retreat and wellness counseling.
