Awareness is the first step towards making change. Do you find yourself facing the same repeated challenges? Are you noticing continued unhelpful patterns in your life? Are you looking to make personal and professional changes? I aim to help you garner a level of awareness and then become more deliberate about the words you choose, the thoughts you think, and the actions you take. Depression and anxiety may have a grip on you, but together we can put the reins of life back in your hands.
I provide individual therapy that is collaborative, compassionate, and uniquely tailored to you. I strongly value the process of helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and your goals. I work to help you see your narrative and how it is serving you in life. I believe we all can create our lives and that YOU are your most important lifelong project.
My approach to treatment is integrative, using elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic Therapy with a Social Justice orientation. Most importantly, I provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to fully explore your inner world. I enjoy working with people going through major life transitions, tapping into your spirituality, existential concerns (questioning/cultivating the meaning, value, or purpose within life), and members of marginalized communities. Reach out to begin your process of empowerment.
