I am Jillian Mahatha, and I am excited that you have found my profile. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, adults, adolescents, and children, and my goal is to promote overall contentment and inner happiness in clients.
I am the practice owner, a Licensed Professional Counselor (Texas), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (North Carolina), National Certified Counselor, Certified Play Therapist, and Certified Telemental Health Provider. I have been in the counseling field since 2009, and it is my passion. Currently, I maintain virtual office space for North Carolina and Texas clients.
I am completing the necessary hours to become a Registered Play Therapist and, on course, to graduate with my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision early 2023.
I have worked with various populations, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and ages to help overcome addictions, anxiety, depression, anger management, interpersonal, behavioral, eating disorders, and marital concerns.
I do this work not only because it is my passion but because I care about people. I am here to listen, challenge, and help you.
