Description

Hello and welcome ! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Dr. J’haria Dallas, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to even begin searching for support. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed or anxious, working through relationship challenges, or simply needing a space to breathe and regroup, therapy can offer a grounding place to feel seen, heard, and supported.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and real. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which means we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected while also focusing on your strengths and what’s already working in your life. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s beneath the surface and take practical, meaningful steps toward the changes you want at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Georgia. My clinical and professional experiences have shaped my commitment to showing up fully for my clients with empathy, authenticity, and care. I understand how impactful it can be to have someone in your corner, especially during life’s more difficult or uncertain seasons.
I work with adults, teens (ages 15 and up), parents, and couples who are ready to feel more confident, connected, and grounded. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full self, without pressure, judgment, or the need to have it all figured out.
As a Black woman therapist, I hold deep awareness of the unique pressures, expectations, and resilience that come with navigating multiple roles and identities. If you’ve been the “strong one,” the caregiver, the high achiever, or the one who often feels unseen, this space is for you. You don’t have to carry everything on your own here.
I believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and move forward. If you're ready to begin therapy in a space that honors your lived experiences and supports your well-being, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. You deserve care that truly sees you.
