Description

You came here for a reason. You want to take that first step towards healing and you want to do it with someone who will honor your story, your diversity, understand your cultural context, and offer you support. Maybe you feel stuck like you have already been through this struggle before. You have worked to try to figure it out and have become discouraged by set backs and you're trying to decide if you will take that next step, again. Well, you are not alone, and even better news you don’t have to face your stressors alone.

As a therapist, I am passionate about helping you navigate your depression, anxiety, relationship stressors, and grief. I aim to provide a safe and courageous space where you can come and express the fullness of who you are while exploring your goals to achieve holistic wellness.

You are the expert on you. I aim trained in helping you navigate the journey towards healing. I specialize in struggles with anxiety (to include social, co-dependency, generalized, and life transitions), boundary issues, depressive disorders, and grief and loss. I use tools of evidenced based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through the use of identify/trauma informed evidenced based interventions.

I am passionate about using an integrative and collaborative approach seeped in anti-oppressive and culturally responsive expressions of therapy so that you can continue to journey towards living a life based on what matters to you. Through, the power of the therapeutic relationship and embracing our diversity growth can happen, but putting in the work matters.

Focusing on your healing is your act of resistance and your right. I look forward to meeting you.
