I specialize in assisting adults in navigating everyday life challenges and interpersonal difficulties. My areas of expertise include: trauma, substance use and other addictive disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, stress management, emotional regulation, self-care, mindfulness, mental health maintenance and relapse prevention.
My approach to life and therapy is guided by the African Proverb “When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.” In this context, I believe that mental and emotional wellness begins with nonjudgmental self-acceptance, which I aim to help clients cultivate.
