My areas of specific practice are providing therapy services to adults, families, and couples. I utilize multiple techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Enhancement Therapy in my practice. I provide a safe space to unbox and unload, sort through, and discard tough emotions, pain spots or soul injuries that are preventing you from moving forward on your journey; or making your journey more difficult by dragging the weight of unresolved matters.
I've started my own private practice because I am passionate about ending stigma related to mental health treatment in our communities and providing a space for everyone to have opportunity to refresh, renew, and rebuild their spirit. I wanted to specifically focus on providing a space for African American women to feel heard, seen, respected, and empowered.
