My name is Jenae’ I am a licensed graduate professional counselor and a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I have experience working with various individuals including families, children, and adults. I am trained in utilizing trauma-focused therapy and have worked with individuals that have been affected by both childhood and adult trauma, behavioral and adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression.
I also have experience providing individual, group, and family counseling in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health clinics and community-based programs. I have an eclectic approach and use a blend of strengths-based approaches and modalities. I utilize the therapeutic setting to help my clients feel they have the space to reach the goals and change they wish to achieve.
I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Morgan State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University.
