Therapy, as you may already know, can be an arduous journey and I'm here to aid you as we uncover unconscious derivatives, process unresolved trauma, and find ways to heal, be present and assured in your strength. I utilize a Psychodynamic approach that mirrors the individualized needs of my clients. Therapy is designed to be a safe place where you devote time and energy towards improving yourself holistically. Your relationship with your therapist is one that can't afford any shortcuts or settling; In order to feel free to roam through uncomfortable emotions, explore trauma, and be receptive to feedback or challenging, rapport must be at an all time high. I strive to make therapy a safe place that you look forward returning as you notice traction towards your goals but also enjoy and appreciate the journey.
Many people struggle with mental health issues but are hesitant to get started or simply don't know how and I yearn to be a beacon of light as I guide them through their journey. I chose this path because I want to be a part of changing the narrative surrounding mental health and the cross generational stigma associated with it. I want to provide effective treatment to anyone who struggles with mental health concerns but I am especially dedicated to raising awareness and providing treatment to underserved populations, particularly people of color.
