As you work to navigate changes in life, trying to manage anxiety, establishing boundaries and finding out who you want to be in this world, it can be exhausting. Seeking therapy is a strength that many overlook. Being in a place in which you want support to see changes in how you cope and adjust to struggles in life, shows strength. I work in therapy to support young black women ages 18-30, with better managing anxiety, low self esteem, relationships & life transitions. I provide a space for you to have a voice and to develop greater confidence in yourself. I use strength building techniques & a systemic viewpoint to support you with a greater understanding of yourself
As a black female therapist I work with young black women and young women of color experiencing anxiety, relationship struggles, racial trauma, struggles with adjustment from youth to adulthood & other difficult life transitions. I also work with college students to explore the many difficulties this transitional time could bring in one's life
I believe therapy is a team approach. I look forward to supporting you on the journey towards learning to put yourself first, having healthier boundaries, greater experiences & healthier relationships in your life. We will work together to support you with developing healthy and effective coping strategies to overcome and better adjust to challenges in life.
