Description
Each phase of life brings unique challenges to all of us. However, it can be difficult to know when certain problems are normal and what should be assessed by a professional - especially when you have so many needs vying for your attention. You may even ask yourself: “Is this really a big deal?” Whether you’re a parent worrying about your child's development and behavior or you’re an adult wanting to improve your confidence, school, or career performance: Understand that these thoughts are normal. Yet, constantly thinking about whether to ask for help can take a toll.
The good news is you do not have to go through this alone. There is a way to feel confident in being prepared for the challenges that come your way. I am a Johns Hopkins trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist focused on helping people (40-years-old and under) navigate and overcome obstacles preventing them from confidently moving forward in their lives. Additionally, I have specialty training diagnosing and assisting individuals impacted by conditions that affect social skills – including autism spectrum, social anxiety, and ADHD.
My goal is to offer a fresh approach to care. This involves reviewing evidence-based care and your strengths to determine the best treatment fit for you. Most individuals can reach their goals in under 6 months. Weekend availability is offered at certain times to provide you with scheduling flexibility. Please reach out and schedule a free 15 minute consultation.
