Description

I have a passion to be curious about those who are untangling their value through issues with generalized mental health issues, self-esteem, faith, or complicated relationships with food. I work with adolescents (as young as 9), adults, and in groups to develop a personal starting point of identity and value. Together we will explore trauma, integrate practical skills, and evaluate life choices through the lens of your personal values. The foundation of my counseling style is modeling authenticity, compassion, curiosity, creativity and collaboration. From the moment you arrive in my office, I want to celebrate with you every stride of your healing journey.

Group Therapy Details

Black Woman’s Sabbath- An open Group where Black women come to rest. This support group is where we lay down the stereotypes the world has tried to place on us and remember that you do not have to travel solo on your journey to healing.

This group meets one time per month. Each Month we will unpack different topics and learn coping skills to consider ourselvesand the image that God has created us in, in a world where that can be a difficult task. Each session is 2 hours, 10-12, with lunch served after.
