Description
“Your mental health is everything- prioritize it. Make the time like your life depends on it, because it does.” -Mel Robbins
Hello, my name is Jasmine I am thrilled to potentially work with you!
I am currently working towards receiving my Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University. I have received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and my BA in psychology with a minor in counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I have an extensive history working with young adolescents, couples, and adults in a clinical setting.
My clinical interests include relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, spirituality, ADD/ADHD, grief and loss, and communication skills. I am an advocate for all clients and vulnerable populations. I volunteer in my free time and enjoy giving back whenever possible.
I would describe myself as having a down-to-earth, empathetic nature, a sense of humor, and a personable demeanor. In addition, I mainly focus on an emotionally focused approach however, I also use real-life experience and various other theoretical approaches.
In my free time, I enjoy roller skating with my dog and spending time with friends & family!
