Description
With over 15 years of experience, my foundational + professional experience has focused on recognizing how trauma affects the body, along with how it affects your relationship to your self + your relationships with others + the world around you. My work lies at the intersection of trauma/post traumatic stress and maternal mental health, and the spectrum of challenges that lie in between.
Most often, symptoms manifest as anxiety and depression, and we will work together to reduce them!
With training in TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, along with continued dedication to reading works by black and brown queer leaders from all of over the world- I offer a therapeutic journey that is affirming, trauma-informed, and anti-bias/anti-racist! A relationship that is trusting, comprehensive, and radical, for your journey!
Connecting with me will look like a natural explorative assessment of your challenges and needs: emotionally, physically, sexually, and spiritually, and determining together how you can meet them in a way that is healthy, through creative mindfulness and traditional psychotherapy.
