Our mission is to help you overcome the stress in your life at any stage. Be it early childhood development years, adjusting to transitions or difficulty navigating marital issues, we have experience utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Play Therapy and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to help guide you towards leading the most joyful stress-free life.

We believe every patient deserves freedom from stress while learning to cope better and live life more fully. This is why we strive to provide comprehensive treatments that meet you where you’re at while teaching you how to find a proper life balance that honors your truth.

Janiece Jenkins started JCCC because she was excited about using a variety of therapeutic modalities. She has a passion for working with individuals and families on overcoming challenges at every stage of their life. Graduating from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism, she went on to receive her Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Janiece is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina. She is also a Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor (RPT-S) and a Nationally Certified TF-CBT Therapist. She also serves as a Clinical Supervisor for clinicians who hold an associate license and wish to become fully licensed in the future. With the use of various modalities, Janiece has assisted children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with various mental health disorders such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), major depressive disorder (MDD), trauma-and-stressor related disorders, and anxiety disorders.

Janiece also specializes in working with couples and has completed training in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She is now currently pursuing her certification in Gottman Therapy to further assist couples in these areas:
