My name is Jamila Jones and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with almost 10 years’ experience providing individual and group therapy. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages in both a private practice setting as well as through college counseling centers. My practice is women focused, in that the work I do is specific to women with their lives in mind. I have specialized training in a number of issues including anxiety, depression and postpartum depression/perinatal mood disorders. I am also well versed in working with individuals with trauma, grief, loss, life adjustment, body image and issues surrounding spirituality.
Most importantly, I value working with persons of color, populations that have been historically marginalized, as they navigate life’s challenges from their unique perspectives.
