I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of IL. I am deeply passionate about providing a secure, non-judgmental space for Women of Color to process their pain, express their joy, give voice to their desires, and challenge their fears. I am dedicated to creating a therapy space that allows WOC to compose a new narrative and shed their trauma.
My approach is person-centered, strengths based, and I incorporate CBT, DBT, relational therapy, and mindfulness within my clinical practice. I specialize in: learning coping strategies for regulating emotions, building confidence/self-esteem, exploring life transitions, and understanding/changing patterns within relationships.
I believe change and transformation is possible when we are motivated and are provided with a safe, nurturing environment to practice within. Together we can practice vulnerability and compassion, build connection, and create space for change and transformation.
