Description

I am a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate through life’s challenges to find healing and growth. With a warm and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to share their thoughts and feelings. I believe in the power of therapy to empower individuals to develop self-awareness, build resilience, and make positive changes in their lives. My therapeutic style draws from various evidence-based modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. It is an honor for me to accompany clients on their journey towards personal transformation and overall well-being.

Recognizing the trauma plaguing the black and brown communities, I had a deep desire to create change. I set out on my journey of becoming a mental health professional a way to give back to the communities desperately in need of healing. I soon realized the unique challenges that trauma can present and the importance of providing specialized care which led me to pursue the advance training to become a Certified EMDR trauma therapist. I learned trauma therapy allowed me to support incredible transformations in my clients. I saw individuals move from a place of fear, pain, and isolation to one of resilience, growth and connection. Witnessing these powerful changes solidified my commitment to trauma therapy and fueled my passion for learning more about EMDR trauma therapy. Being a therapist is more than a career choice; it is a calling, a way to use my natural gifts and experiences to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I have found fulfillment in the connections built, the stories heard, and the hope that is instilled in empowered individuals.

I am grateful for the opportunity to witness the growth and transformation as my clients overcome life's many obstacles, and find harmony in all aspects of their lives as they thrive and live authentically.

It's important for me to engage in a variety of activities during my free time to maintain a healthy work-life balance, nourish my mind and body, and find fulfillment outside of my professional responsibilities. Here are a few things I do to relax: foster animals from my local shelter, engage in my yoga/mindfulness practice, explore new places to hike, immerse myself in a good book, and spend time with my loved ones.
