Our team of Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) holistic mental wellness counselors specialize in working with high functioning adult people of color on life issues related to stress and transitions (change) that often look like depression, anxiety, fatigue, "impostor syndrome", poor-self esteem, and emotional eating - which interferes with living your best life.
We offer a client centered and holistic approach that aims to bring to light the patterns and associations between stress, diet, family history, support systems/resources, life experiences, environment, and issues related to current and/or historical oppression - and how YOUR body, mind, and spirit have been responding.
We are passionate about helping our clients achieve optimal wellbeing through a decolonized, bio-individual and holistic approach to physical/mental/emotional/spiritual wellness.
We believe in the body’s ability to heal itself, and are committed to helping clients restore and maintain optimal health through natural, non-toxic methods. We use traditional and modern treatment methods to help understand the root causes of issues/illness and to explore how to implement methods of self-care so you can regain balance and reach your own pinnacle of health - continuously along your life-long journey.
In addition to holistic mental wellness counseling, we offer Zola Experience grief & loss groups, reiki, life-coaching, nutrition counseling, classes, wellness events and natural plant based healing products.
We DO NOT accept any insurance, though we can provide you with a statement that you can submit for reimbursement, IF you're insurance allows it. You would have to look into that carefully.
We DO accept FSA/HSA (Flexible Savings Account/Health Spending Account) cards if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.
We DO offer a sliding scale of up to 50% of our rates when space allows.
