Description
Imani White (she/her)- is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) specializing in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adolescence behavioral disorders and trauma. Imani’s therapeutic approach is based on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These approaches help provide a supportive and collaborative environment by empowering individuals to address barriers that affect daily living.
With a background in crisis intervention for adults and adolescences, Imani services clients by providing a safe place for clients to authentically express and be themselves. Imani believes that each individual deserves to have a space to be heard, supported and most importantly validated. Imani encourages clients to be the master of their own narrative by teaching coping skills, recognizing the effects of behaviors and putting in perspective the relationship between who the client is and who they want to be.
Originally hailing from Los Angeles, California, Imani enjoys in her free time playing with her puppy Nola, hiking, trying new foods, and learning how to roller skate.
