Greetings!
My name is Imani Carter, LGPC, NCC. I am currently a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the state of Maryland as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, receiving a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling-Clinical. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association.
As a counselor I aim to provide support for my clients in order to assist them in accomplishing their goals along their therapeutic journey to become the best versions of themselves. I have clinical experience serving various populations from children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize various therapeutic approaches tailored to fit the needs of each individual client.
