I understand that humans are complex and can face a variety of challenging experiences throughout life that create difficult or unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to manage. I approach mental health from a compassionate, and holistic perspective.
I am passionate about creating a supportive, liberating, and non-judgmental space for all individuals, with an emphasis on the liberation of black women and men, people of color, and women during pregnancy, postpartum, and their mothering journey.
I am trained in Cognitive Therapies, trauma-focused modalities, Brainspotting, parts-work, and Maternal Mental Health. In addition to practicing traditional therapeutic models, I enjoy incorporating alternative methods to healing such as guided meditation, sound healing, and breath-work.
