Hi! I’m Hope and I have a passion for helping women navigate life’s challenges and find healing. I’ve always had a heart for helping people, and I feel truly honored to walk alongside individuals on their personal journeys.

Through my own mental health journey, I know what it’s like to silently struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and carry that “Strong Black Woman” title that I never asked for. Women are often tasked with having to do it all and we are often made to feel like failures when we don’t show up perfectly because society tells us so.

My goal is to empower women, providing a space where you can feel safe, seen, and understood. Life can be overwhelming, and we all need a place to drop the weight we’re carrying and just be our authentic selves. That’s what my practice, Heart Shine Counseling, is all about. I’d love to assist you in untangling the web of confusion, self-doubt, and unhelpful thought processes in your life so you can be your truest, most authentic self and live your best life.

When you step into my office, I want you to feel like you’re in a space that’s just for you. I try to bring my authentic self to each session because at the end of the day, I’m a human connecting with another human. So come kick your feet up, have a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s talk. Whether it’s managing stress, working through past trauma, sharing a laugh, or finding your balance again, I’m here to support you.

You deserve to feel empowered, supported, and safe, and I’m here to help you shine. Let’s take this journey together.
