Heather Beth Duke is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works from a systemic approach. Rather than focusing solely on the pathology of her client, Heather gently uncovers the nature of the individual's “systems” and then listens reflectively and empathically to the client's narrative. Giving the client space to ponder and reflect on their story allows the individual to dig, grow, forgive, and eventually heal from childhood traumas that continue to plague their adult relationships. Heather has modeled Virginia Satir to tirelessly connect, communicate, and heal countless individuals. Having completed her Masters Degree in Counseling with emphasis in Marital/Family therapy from Capella University, Heather has also received her Gottman Level 1 and Gottman Level 2 training which allows her to tailor her therapeutic approach to couples in distress.
