Clients working with me can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental and encouraging environment to effectively communicate life stressors and dive deeper into the root of emotional patterns. Clients will have 45 minutes dedicated to them, to discuss and unpack life challenges. I believe in empowering clients to take ownership of their emotions, to speak about challenging life experiences, and identify healthy coping behaviors to lead a positive life. Here is a little about me!
I’m originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to New York City to obtain my master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Graduating from John Jay College has greatly shaped my perspectives around the social, racial, and mental health injustices in our communities, all areas I deeply care about. The favorite part of my day is reading a book in my backyard while listening to the birds chirp with a hot cup of tea!
