Description
Look at you! I’m proud of you. It seems you’re ready to continue your healing journey. It’s a good step, and I’m sure it was hard to reach this moment, so cheers to you. You might be unsure what’s the next step is but know that you want change, and that’s okay. Let’s explore what it looks like. As background stories are valuable and vital to who we are as individuals, we can explore past, present, and future ideologies to provide insight into your healing journey.
Your voice is essential, and as we work together, we will develop a therapeutic space to express one’s challenges and practice knowing and understanding yourself. I enjoy working with individuals healing from trauma and exploring their cultural identity. I am experienced in exploring topics such as Self Esteem, Relationships, Anxiety, Trauma, Effective Communication, Depression, and Crisis work. I have had the pleasure of providing mental health resources to individuals, families, and groups within child, adolescent, and adult populations. I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of the District of Columbia.
Overall, I am passionate about helping others become the highest version of themselves and discussing how to embody that. I believe in meeting you where you are to find your rhythm in this life journey. I encourage you to take that first step into exploring your mind as you move through the ebbs and flows of city life.
