Description
I provide therapy in the historic Monadnock Building in the Chicago South Loop. I specialize in helping clients manage trauma, racial identity, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family dynamics. I work with adolescents, adults, and families. I also support first responders, including EMS workers, police officers, teachers, therapists, nurses, and doctors. My ideal client possesses a healthy curiosity about patterns and behaviors that no longer serve them and is eager to engage in the work needed to change those patterns. The therapeutic process occurs both in and out of session, as clients practice skills, techniques, and healthier behaviors in their daily lives. A commitment to weekly or biweekly treatment has proven effective in fostering change in one’s life and wellness.
I help clients identify barriers that keep them from living a meaningful life. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I journey with you to reprocess and release things that no longer serve you. I provide skills and connect themes to help you learn to regulate your emotions and gain better control over your thoughts.
Life has challenges, and it can sometimes seem as if you are all alone. Therapy can provide a place to help you process, problem-solve, set goals, and begin implementing a better you! I can support you on your journey of healing and release.
