Description

At Peaceful Mind Therapy & Wellness, I provide mind‑body, trauma‑informed psychotherapy designed to help adults, teens, and families move from survival to calm connection.

My approach blends evidence‑based modalities like EMDR, CBT, and DBT with mindfulness and somatic practices that teach the body how to feel safe again. I specialize in working with Black girls, women, and helping professionals who carry the weight of stress, anxiety, trauma, or burnout while caring for everyone else.

Sessions focus on regulating the nervous system, healing emotional wounds, and building the confidence to live with ease and authenticity.

Whether online or in‑office, therapy offers a safe, culturally responsive space where you can rest, reflect, and rebuild. Together, we’ll create real‑world strategies for balance, boundaries, and long‑term resilience. Sessions available for individuals, couples, and groups. Accepting new clients.

Group Therapy Details

The REST Program is a group therapy experience created for women who are emotionally exhausted, burned out, and tired of being strong all the time. This group is designed for women who have learned to over function, people please, and push through pain out of necessity, expectation, or survival. The work centers on slowing the nervous system, releasing chronic stress held in the body, and unlearning guilt around rest and boundaries. Sessions include guided conversation, psychoeducation, practical tools, and shared reflection in a supportive, culturally responsive space that honors identity, resilience, and lived experience. The goal of the REST Program is to help women reconnect with themselves, reclaim rest as a form of care, and respond to life with more ease, clarity, and sustainability.
