I am Gabrielle Davis, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Idaho, registered respiratory therapist (RRT), certified health education specialist (CHES) and certified tobacco treatment specialist (CTTS). I received a Master’s degree in Public Health from Grand Canyon University (2016) and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Boise State University (2020).
I am the Owner of Equitable Counseling and Consulting, LLC where I provide counseling, via telehealth, to clients residing in *Idaho only* and consulting services to individuals and entities across the United States.
Through Equitable Counseling and Consulting, LLC, I offer supportive therapy to assist in the increase of individual problem-solving skills, strengthening interpersonal relationships, building communication skills, improving coping strategies and conflict resolution. Fostering a positive therapeutic relationship with each client is the foundation of treatment. It is imperative to meet all clients where they are and create a treatment plan that is tailored to meet their needs. I strive to work alongside my clients while working towards resolutions and creating opportunities for growth.
As a Black, Queer individual, I am passionate about working with all clients, but specialize in clients who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and/or are members of the LGBTQAAI2S+ community through the lens of intersectionality. I am committed to creating an accessible and equitable counseling space for BIPOC and Queer/Trans Folks.
My areas of expertise within the BIPOC and Queer community include depression and anxiety, identity issues, coming out, transitioning, strengthening relationships, addressing barriers and oppression, increasing self-esteem and confidence, support during times of changes and loss and finding balance in life and strength within yourself.
