ABOUT FRANCES
Hi, my name is Frances Alexandra Figueroa. I am a LGPC who believes in empowering individuals by providing them with the tools to succeed in life. Working with children and families has always been my passion.
My work in inner city communities and multicultural families with complex issues has taught me that anyone can rise from traumatic and stressful experiences. Substance abuse, sexual abuse, depression, behavioral issues in the home or at school are all areas where I use multiple paths to healing. As a bilingual therapist (Spanish) I have collaborated with foreigners’ who have been separated from their families. They have issues of not only with a new language, but a completely different culture.
My preferred methods of treating clients are person centered and holistic. Meeting people on their path to healing and helping them to strengthen their self-perspective and personal relations is most important to me.
I strongly believe a positive attitude can heal the mind, body, and spirit.
