The journey to a Well You, starts with YOU. Making the decision to begin therapy is a faithful leap and taking the next steps to meet with me might bring about some hesitance and that is completely normal. My goal is to develop a therapeutic relationship with you where together we can collaborate on developing strategies to help you manage your stressors so that you can feel empowered and capable of addressing troubling circumstances outside of the therapeutic setting.
I create space for you to bring a piece of you each session to create peace within you. I may never be able to walk in your shoes, but I can walk beside you, holding hope for you during this journey to a well you.
I have received training in various clinical approaches to therapy and have worked in various settings including: foster family agencies, government child welfare agencies, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient mental health clinics. I don’t believe in squeezing people into a particular therapeutic style but instead, flexing the therapeutic style to meet the individual needs of my clients.
