I help my clients identify their vulnerabilities, which are often rooted in past trauma, acknowledge their current needs in service of mental wellness and healthy relationships, and relearn what it means to take care of themselves. Together my clients and I rewrite previous narratives that discount their inherent worth, challenge expectations about who they should be and what they should do and release the intentions that they want to manifest in the future. Experience and Expertise:
I have been in the mental health field for over a decade, accumulating extensive experience in helping women navigate through the complexities of depression and anxiety. My expertise lies in addressing the specific needs and concerns faced by Black women, including the effects of societal expectations, systemic oppression, racial trauma, and cultural identity.

Approach to Therapy:
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). However, I firmly believe in tailoring therapy to the unique needs and preferences of each client, understanding that one size does not fit all. Collaboratively, we will explore your experiences, thoughts, and emotions, working towards developing coping strategies and creating a path towards healing and self-empowerment.
