I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I am Trauma informed and an EMDR trained clinician. I attended Richmont Graduate University where I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 12 years of experience providing services to diverse populations with visible and invisible disabilities to enhance client quality of life. I have four years of direct clinical mental health experience. I have worked in community, In/outpatient psychiatric hospital, and private practice settings. My experience includes working with children and adults with mild to severe mental illness as well as substance abuse.
My current focus is working with BIPOC, women, professionals, veterans, and their families. My specialty includes working with those who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions. I provide individual, group, couple, and family sessions. I believe in a flexible and inclusive style of treatment. My approach to counseling is integrative. I use evidence-based treatments to cater to clients’ individual needs and counseling goals. I will meet you on your journey where you are to assist you in becoming your best self. I am warm and empathetic. I am committed to providing grace in an environment that is safe and non-judgmental.
