Welcome to my Therapist BIO page. I am glad you are here! My number one priority as a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor is to help you meet your therapy goals! Over the last seven years I have provided care and treatment to individuals looking for similar support as yourself. I have worked with minor children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, couples, married couples, families, groups, veterans, and the senior community all for the same reasons; to provide care and treatment during challenging times. My approach aside from being warm, understanding, and able to assist you is to use clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered approaches to name a few. I would consider myself as an eclectic therapist, so I really work hard on meeting the needs of the client specific with clinical support.

Seeking a therapist is a big decision so I always welcome clients the first session to ask questions and get a feel for how we will work together to help you successfully meet your therapy goals. Right now, my calendar is available for virtual office hours by appointment. Feel free to look it over and see where the days and times offered may work for you. Some of the mental health challenges I worked with individuals to overcome in my tenure as a therapist includes depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, schizoaffective disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, ADHD, grief, trauma, identity related issues, workplace stress, relationship, family, and marriage conflict issues. I graduated from Liberty University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy therefore noticeably my passion is to provide specialized care to those with relationship, and marriage conflict with therapeutic techniques, and interventions from marriage and family therapy. I am also very versed in providing crisis support to those individuals challenged with suicidal ideation "thoughts", plans or a history of attempting to end life by suicide.

Other non-clinical or educational things about me includes my love for traveling and exploring new places. My personal motto is “help you live your life by design and not default." I look forward to meeting you where you are. Welcome!
