Description

Felicia M. Holloman-Hunt was born on the Southside of Chicago in Wentworth Gardens. Born the youngest of three to proud parents: Caleb and Elizabeth Holloman. Elizabeth received her high school diploma and later her cosmetology license becoming a beautician at ‘Green’s Beauty Salon’. Caleb never learned to read but could write his name, he worked as a cook at the famous, ‘Ringo’s BBQ’. Caleb and Elizabeth made a humble home for their family.

At six, Felicia was diagnosed with Sickle Cell dis-ease, a dis-ease that is extremely painful and debilitating. Often missing school and a normal childhood, she spent many months in the hospital instead of in the classroom or on the playground. These episodes only made Felicia resilient and more determined to live and beat the odds. Felicia also experienced bullying by her peers, child molestation by her baby-sitter, and domestic abuse in her family as an adolescent. These are the experiences that would eventually lead her to her life’s work. Ms. Hunt has always kept a positive attitude and forged ahead in her life.

As a young adult, Ms. Hunt faced insecurity, doubt and fear not knowing how to navigate this world living with sickle cell dis-ease. Felicia believed the only life and career she could have was being a parent, so, at 20, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Loren K. Coleman Jr. Shortly after she and her baby boy moved to Southern California, where she eventually married. It was the end of that marriage that set her on the course to realize her life’s purpose.

In 2006, while watching a Tyra Banks show, Felicia was intrigued by one of the guest who was a professional sex coach. Upon further research, she discovered that “sex coach” was a real thing, this was inspiring because she had a genuine desire to understand relationships. Ms. Hunt enrolled into school earning her BA in psychology and Africana studies, and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and became a certified sex coach along the way. She is currently completing her dissertation for her PsyD. Degree in (MFT).

Felicia specializes in African American Families Service, Trauma, Sexual assault, Generational cycles, Breaking Barriers from a Cultural Perspective and tearing down social Constructs that oppress and marginalize people of color, especially Black people. Currently, she is promoting her Sex Coaching and Sex Education business called “6ExCoach, LLC”, that teaches people “Mental-Fitness” and, “Live in Desire 100%!” She maintains, “It is important for me to empower and support individuals in healing their minds, brains/bodies and souls, using techniques and skills obtained through my many years of study and experience.”
